I don't spend a lot of time hunting for listenable shows from '92, but I have listened to a few that I went to that year, so I know there are some bright spots (Try 6/8/92). But to appreciate that year, you often have to listen through some pretty awful keyboards. '92 was a tough year for Vince. I like Bruce, and you can see how much Jerry seemed to like playing with him; but he crowded the stage and pushed Vince to the side. Some would say to the benefit of the entire band, but I'm not so sure things wouldn't have been better if they'd just let Vince be the lone keys player from the get-go. Evidently it was Bralove who in many cases had control of Vince's tone, and he spent his first 1.5 yrs with the band learning to add color to a big sound using chintsy-sounding effects, rather than learning how to play the lead keyboard parts on organ or piano. As the 90's wore on, Vince actually started to sound better and better, and it was mainly Jerry and the rest of the band that went steadily downhill. By 94-95, Vince seemed like the only one that was still interested on some nights.
